ENJOY THOSE FRENCH FRIES!

He calls and asks, "What do you want from Wendy's?"

I answer, "ohh... um... just get me a dollar burger."

He comes home with a #1....

It's frustrating... I don't eat alot and he knows that. A burger will literally fill my stomach to the point of uncomforability.(there is no better diet than poverty!) So now I am faced with a GIGANTIC burger, LARGE fries, and a tanker sized soda.

I know the easy way is to eat what you can and the hell with the rest... But the reality is, PEOPLE ARE STARVING TO DEATH every minute... further more... It kills me to throw out the fries cause lets face it.... In our lifetime there will come a day when the luxury of fries is something we will only reminice about.

Point being, my 'consumer driven' parter will never give himself the opportunity to think about and understand the 'BIGGER PICTURE'.

Dispite all my annoying lip-service he still can't understand why I feel the way I do about reality.

I was going to ask if any of you have similar stories about your spouces... but I realized that the only person that even reads my blogs anyway is TARA. So now I'm wondering why I even have a blog... Should probably just screw my blog and just correspond through email with Tara.

Wow, what a silly rant.

SOUTH MOUNTAIN HIKE

Awesome spring so far! The cactus blossoms are beautiful. (note all the granite)

This is a beautiful example of a cool weathering process... 'Root Wedging'. The tree's roots seek cracks and expand, causing the rock to break apart.

This is a Phoenix view from our hike. (Note: We hiked all the way... we did not use that road you see.)

Tyler talked me into going on a walk.... We ended up hiking South Mountain's 'National' trail. Lots of cool geology!

By the way....

For this to be justifiable I've quit smoking cigarettes all together.

My standing workstation

Alright people, So I've neglected to blog so long that I feel guilty... Not really. I view my families blogs from time to time with no interaction. I've intended to comment and blog for some time now. But what really kicked my butt in gear is my new self-experiment, and the many blogs that led me to conduct this self-experiment.

Simply put, there is a ergonomics movement involving the unnatural postures humans develop from the over use of chairs. Yes, I said CHAIRS. But seriously use your critical thinking on this one.

There are many articles, blogs, testimonials, and websites dedicated to this subject. I will include some links for you all. The concept is awesome!

So, Instead of slouching at my computer or while doing homework I'm gonna stand.

I posted it sideways for My boo Shawanna, Shes horizontal in an iron lung.
